I don’t think anyone would have been able to predict the outcome of our seemingly innocuous decision to allow the Spanish language to be included in our daily discourse. I know that our hearts were in the right place, we wanted to make life easier for our new residents, while they learned English and we wanted to be well, welcoming!

But we had no idea how that one decision would create one of the most chaotic periods in our history and threaten the very fiber of our nation

They say the road to hell is paved with good intensions, and I believe that the situation with some Hispanic people was borne through our own desire to be good hosts.

Thats right, this is the United States of America and our language is english – if you want to become a citizen you have to learn it and I believe that we should stop the multi-lingual (we don't have the money anyway) political correctness and just say Prensa 2 a desconectar hasta que aprendes Ingles!!
